We're delighted to be teaming up with Michaela Breeze MBE and Commonwealth Weightlifting medalist and RockTape to host this 2 day workshop covering the Bio Mechanics of Weightlifting along with kinesiology taping and Stick Mobility designed to meet the needs of therapists working with weightlifters and power athletes.
The sessions will include a combination of theory and practical elements. No prior lifting experience is necessary, you'll have an opportunity to move through key positions to gain a more in depth understanding. The content of the day will include a full and comprehensive technical analysis of the Snatch, Clean and Jerk movements together with all the pre-requisites exercises necessary to develop in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. These sessions are suitable for anyone wishing to gain a better knowledge of how to move ‘safely’ through the movements, minimising the risk of injury but at the same time being as efficient and effective as possible.

Day 2 - Stick Mobility & Taping for Olympic Weightlifting with Rob Crowley
Stick Mobility can be a useful tool to enhance the stability and mobility necessary for Olympic lifters. The Stick Mobility sticks and system utilises isometric contraction, joint articulation techniques, and deep fascial stretching to not only help rehabilitate patient’s injuries, but enhance proprioception, improve range of motion, and enhance strength and neurological control.
The workshop will teach you the up to date evidence of how the tape works, practical handling of the tape, and how to use the tape for various applications for the Olympic lifter and functional fitness athlete. We will learn how to screen utilising a movement screen or lift, tape, and reassess the athlete.

CPD: A personal certificate of attendance with CPD hours will be issued upon completion.
25% fee for registration cancellations made less than 2 weeks before scheduled class date. Training may be cancelled if a minimum number of trainees is not reached 2 weeks prior to training. All registrants will receive a full refund or immediate transfer to a future training. We do everything possible to ensure our events will go on as planned, if it looks like a class will have to be cancelled we will do our very best to contact you and give you as much notice as possible. With that said, please make your travel plans accordingly, as we cannot refund travel expenses related to cancelled/rescheduled seminars.
